MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Apprentice Meter Repair Technician ($26.16 per hour)
- High school diploma or GED equivalency.
- Ability to read and record meter index and test data.
- Good eye/hand coordination.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Must have basic knowledge of computer software, hardware and internet.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience.
- Meter Repair Technician B requires six (6) months of credited hours as Apprentice Meter Repair Technician and must meet all performance expectations.
- Meter Repair Technician A requires one (1) year of credited hours as Meter Repair Technician B and must meet all performance expectations.
- Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
- Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Strong commitment to personal safety on the job.
- Safely operate all required tools, equipment and vehicles according to Company policies and procedures.
- Disassemble, test, repair, calibrate and paint meters and regulators.
- Operate computerized testing equipment.
- Provide measurement assistance to field operations and respond to emergency situations.
- Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Meter Repair Technician B Wage: $32.93 per hour
Meter Repair Technician A Wage: $37.96 per hour
