Job Description:The Pharmacy Benefits Specialist (Customer Service) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of SelectHealth’s prescription coverage. This position provides superior customer service in response to all inquiries and questions for members, providers, employer groups, facilities, other departments and teams. Our training for this position includes learning how to provide excellent customer service, maintain confidentiality, navigate provided resources, and act as an insurance coach.

Job DescriptionThe Pharmacy Benefits Specialist (Customer Service) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of SelectHealth’s prescription coverage. CompensationIn addition to a competitive wage, this position offers:
Minimum QualificationsOne year combined experience in any of the following: medical/pharmacy claims processing; health benefit coordination; customer service experience; pharmacy tecnician experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands

See and read computer monitors and documents
- and -
Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment
Physical Requirements:Manual dexterity, hearing, seeing, speaking.

- Maintains customer history in member tracking tool using correct and accurate notation
- Assists members with grievances and appeals process
- Required to meet all department standards pertaining to call statistics, production, documentation, quality, and accuracy
