Job Essentials
Incoming/outgoing calls from members, providers, employer groups, brokers, and internal departments
Computer competency and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Provides superior customer service that is consistent with policies, company values, and quality standards
Maintains the confidentiality of member's personal information to be compliant with HIPAA and internal policy
Maintains customer history in member tracking tool using correct and accurate notation
Assists members with grievances and appeals process
Required to meet all department standards pertaining to call statistics, production, documentation, quality, and accuracy
Meets department standards for exceptions, overrides, and preauthorizations Minimum QualificationsOne year combined experience in any of the following: medical/pharmacy claims processing; health benefit coordination; customer service experience; pharmacy tecnician experience. - and - Experience utilizing word processing software. Preferred Qualifications
Pharmacy Technician Certification
