Intermountain Health is Hiring a Strategic Account Manager Near Fort Collins, CO

Job Description:The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for engaging with provider groups in value-based contracts to share and interpret data in support of helping people live the healthiest lives possible.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Accountable for working with provider groups to achieve annual goals, evaluate progress to goal, identify/analyze emerging business needs, and conduct effective provider outreach and engagement for performance improvement
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of programs, processes, infrastructure and reporting and make changes to improve results and effectiveness
Able to effectively work individually and as part of a team to articulate and coach provider partners in the complexities of value-based contracts, quality measures, risk adjustment strategies and aid provider groups through the effective use of data reports
Collaboration with health plan’s partners to ensure risk adjustment strategies and initiatives are being represented with network providers
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5 years’ experience in health plan and/or provider administration experience
  • Familiarity with provider incentive programs specific to risk adjustment, P4P and quality programs
  • Strong understanding of risk adjustment strategy and impact
  • Intermediate Excel skills, PowerPoint (MS Suite)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management experience
  • Experience presenting in small and/or large groups
  • Experience with HCC coding
  • Understanding of STAR/HEDIS measures
  • Experience with provider contracts
