Numerica is seeking a cybersecurity professional to assist with our Information Assurance activities. This person will act as the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) and support the planning, implementation, testing, and documentation of the applicable information assurance and cybersecurity requirements. Your knowledge and expertise are valuable and as we are a small business and team. This is a hands-on role, so you must be a self-starter and able to manage your time with minimal supervision. Duties and responsibilities: Ensuring information system complies with relevant standards/requirements (e.g. DAAPM, NISPOM, NIST) Develop and maintain all information assurance documentation (System Security Plans (SSP), Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA), Risk Assessments, diagrams, inventories, etc.) General Cybersecurity activities, including but not limited to: Hardware/Software change administration, media protection, etc. Information Systems Reviews, Auditing, and Continuous Monitoring Incident Response Requirements: Bachelor s degree in relevant field 5 years relevant professional experience Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux Excellent communication skills and comfortable with public speaking Familiar with NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171 Able to meet or exceed DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level I and IAM Level I requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas: Standards compliance for IT systems (ex. NISPOM and NIST 800-53/800-171 requirements) Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems Networking concepts RMF experience Expected salary range $80,000 - $95,000, plus incentives U.S. Citizenship required Due to the nature of the work performed by Numerica, all applicants must be capable of obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance. At a minimum, this requires that a candidate be a U.S. citizen and have a trustworthy background (e.g., clean criminal record, no use of illegal drugs, etc.).
