This position is responsible for the day-to-dayoperational management of the Billing and Coding groups in order to maximizerevenues and reimbursements for patient services through effective andefficient billing and coding practices. Coordinates and monitors all externalbilling vendor(s) and/or service(s). Plans and reviews specialized billing andrevenue projects; analysis of upcoming billing changes and impact to ICHS;analysis of billing software systems and billing management vendors; educationof internal and external staff; coordination of cross departmental projectswithin ICHS; education of staff andmonitoring of all revenue cycle activities, including cross departmental; otherduties as assigned by CFO.Pay Range: $37.10 - $54.02
Education - Baccalaureate degree in related field ispreferred. Work experience may substitute for degree on a year-to-year basis.Experience - At least five years’ work experience in medicalbilling/coding with at least ten years in supervisory or lead capacity.Other Requirement(s) - Familiarity with medical terminology andpractice management systems.
