Expected work schedule for the Ann Arbor Ministry Leader :

We offer flexible full or part time schedules. Overtime or weekends may be required for specific events as well as attendance at the annual IFI retreat.

The Ann Arbor Ministry Leader will develop a team of partners to cover financial needs such as salary, benefits, ministry expenses, and pray for their ministry. A Ann Arbor Ministry Leader can expect a salary of $25,709-$80,000 based on experience and other factors.

About the Area and Responsibilities of an Ann Arbor Ministry Leader

We have a presence at the University of Michigan (UM) in Ann Arbor, MI, which is an amazing place to engage international students in ministry. UM is an excellent and influential school renowned for new inventions, being number one in research volume and its athletic programs. There are over 8,500 international students from 139 countries at UM. This role is an amazing opportunity to reach key students with the good news in a great part of the country! We do this by offering services, such as airport pickups, holiday hosting, temporary housing, conversation partnerships, social events and trips, as well as digital ways to connect with students. This position is part of the Central Ohio ministry team and requires the candidate to live near the campus on which they will be serving.

The Ann Arbor Ministry Leader will establish a ministry location by building relationships with university staff, church partners, and volunteers. The Ann Arbor Ministry Leader will engage in personal ministry as well as mobilize others to host Bible studies, plan cultural events, and share the Gospel. It is vital that the Ann Arbor Ministry Leader establish IFI as a recognized student org, maintain good relationships with the campus, and maintain financial and prayer support for the budgeted needs of the role.

The Ann Arbor Ministry Leader must adhere to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies. The Ann Arbor Ministry Leader must be a person of character who faithfully extends God's love globally by mobilizing Christians to effectively communicate the Gospel in the context of various cultures.

Education/Experience for an Ann Arbor Ministry Leader

• Demonstrated ministry, training and mobilization experience required
• Experience in cross-cultural ministry, preferred
• College degree preferred
