Expected work schedule for the Los Angeles Ministry Leader :

We offer flexible full or part time schedules. Overtime or weekends may be required for specific events as well as attendance at the annual IFI retreat.

Pay structure for a Los Angeles Ministry Leader :

IFI provides training in order to equip Los Angeles Ministry Leaders in personal fundraising. The Los Angeles Ministry Leader will develop a team of partners to cover financial needs such as salary, benefits, ministry expenses, and pray for their ministry. A Los Angeles Ministry Leader can expect a salary of $25,709-$80,000 based on experience and other factors.

About the Area and Responsibilities of a Los Angeles Ministry Leader

Los Angeles is an extremely strategic location for international student ministry. It is the second largest city in the United States and the metro area has around 50,000 international students on at least 18 colleges and universities. Two of those universities have international student populations in the top 10 of all universities in the United States (UCLA, USC). US News and World Report ranks UCLA as the number 1 public university in the United States. Future leaders from all over the world are preparing for their future in the Los Angeles area. This position is part of the Los Angeles ministry team and requires the candidate to live near the campus on which they will be serving.

The Los Angeles Ministry Leader will establish a ministry location by building relationships with university staff, church partners, and volunteers. The Los Angeles Ministry Leader will engage in personal ministry as well as mobilize others to host Bible studies, plan cultural events, and share the Gospel. It is vital that the Los Angeles Ministry Leader establish IFI as a recognized student org, maintain good relationships with the campus, and maintain financial and prayer support for the budgeted needs of the role.

Qualifications Needed from the Los Angeles Ministry Leader, including Spiritual Characteristics

The Los Angeles Ministry Leader must adhere to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies. The Los Angeles Ministry Leader must be a person of character who faithfully extends God's love globally by mobilizing Christians to effectively communicate the Gospel in the context of various cultures.

Education/Experience for a Los Angeles Ministry Leader

• Demonstrated ministry, training and mobilization experience required
• Experience in cross-cultural ministry, preferred
• College degree preferred
