We are currently looking for someone to fill the Plant Operator role for International Ingredient Corporation at our Oskaloosa plant. This person will be responsible for ensuring proper incoming ingredients are inspected and bins are charged correctly before going into the room and/or ensuring proper mixing of all ingredients to produce a quality finished product.

Responsibilities Include:

• Good attendance records
• Self directed/motivated
• Ensure all ingredients are visually inspected for consistency and removing any visible hazards that could affect machines or product safety
• Ensure accurate weighing of all ingredients in the proper order
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
• Keep accurate and complete batch records including lot #’s and P.O. #’s of all ingredients
• Follow product quality assurance requirements as outlined in the QC manual to protect employees and company assets
• Operate all plant equipment within established procedures
• Follow all plant safety requirements established to protect employees and company assets
• Will share other duties as required or needed
• Contribute to the team environment by sharing ideas towards continuous improvement
• Follow all GMP’s, Safe Food/ Safe Feed, and HACCP guidelines
• Report all safe feed issues to immediate supervisor
• Assist with any and all other duties that may be assigned
• Facility specific CCP Training (Annually)
• Animal Food Training Requirements
