Language Services is a fee-based program offered to corporations, government municipalities, non-profit organizations and individuals. This is helps IISTL to generate revenue to advance its mission.
As the Business Development Coordinator, you will primarily promote new and existing services and adding new customers from the growing marketplace.
Primary Responsibilities And Key Areas Of Focus
- Increase interpretation, translation, and other center service delivery.
- Expand communication and outreach methods.
- Develop new clientele targeted for language services.
- Build and maintain company-customer relationships.
- Effective and efficient handling of customer transactions.
- Ensure excellent in person, over the phone, and virtual customer service client experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Track outreach progress through customer relationship management.
- Develop innovative initiatives to increase program services.
- Accurately maintain customer records.
- Consistent, efficient, timely response with customers, closing sales transactions and processing payments.
- Assist customers in determining order requirements or services.
- Identify and escalate customer issues.
- Troubleshoot customer issues during the delivery process.
- Keep account transactions and literature up to date.
- Complete all required reports in a quality and timely manner.
- Ensure that the mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image.
- Performs additional duties as required and or requested.
- Prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Meet deadlines.
- Take initiative to work independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.
- Productive in a multicultural environment and demonstrate respect for differences.
- Effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external customers.
- Must be meticulous, but able to maintain a balanced perspective in rapidly changing business circumstances.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Microsoft 365.
- Proficient with operating in a digital document environment, including Microsoft Office and its products
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, business development, or related field, or 4 years of relevant professional experience
- Familiarity with basic accounting.
