Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Division Chief of the Systemic Issues Division, the candidate will work on empirical and theoretical research and policy projects of interest to the division, including sovereign debt, the integrated policy framework, and other globally systemic issues global supply chains, and inflation. Outputs will typically include jointly-authored research papers, as well as applications. The candidate will also be expected to review country (both program and surveillance) and policy documents.
Minimum Qualifications
In addition to the qualifications set forth in the job standards, the successful candidate will have knowledge of and experience in the application of modern empirical and modeling techniques. The candidate will need to exercise independent judgment, function with limited supervision, and in some cases, supervise and review the work of research assistants. Policy experience and strong oral and written communication skills would be desirable, as would a track record of relevant publications in top journals.
