Job Responsibilities:

As a Costing / Purchasing Analyst at Interpak, you will collaborate closely with senior management on production costing and purchasing, which is essential to manufacturing our custom-made products. Your responsibilities will include:

• Generate accurate cost estimates based on customers' specifications for various production methods and quantities.
• Compare actual costs with estimated costs to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Respond to questions from senior management related to costing and purchasing.
• Participate in daily meetings to communicate costing and purchasing information.
• Issue purchase orders when requested.
• Follow up with vendors to confirm PO acknowledgments and on-time delivery.
• Update the ERP with vendor acknowledgment information, notifying management of variances.
• Assist in converting cost estimates into production routers.
• Assist in ensuring inventory accuracy by monitoring and analyzing usage to minimize discrepancies.

Competencies and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• Ability to learn independently with guidance from mentors.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Familiarity with ChatGPT, VBA, Power BI (DAX & M-code), Power Automate, SQL, Power Apps, and Camtasia is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail
• Teamwork, collaboration, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
