International Sound Corporation has an immediate opening for a local Video Operator in the production and recording of a live television broadcast show for a Thoroughbred Racetrack located in New Kent, Virginia. The candidate should have the ability to operate a computer based character generator and related Microsoft Windows based computer graphics system. Prior experience is required for this position and will include taking direction from the on site Technical Director. The candidate must be available to work all racing performances and have reliable transportation to be considered. The position is a part time and seasonal with racing conducted on a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday basis from Thursday July 11th through Saturday September 7th. Work shifts will be from Noon until 7:30 PM on Thursdays and Saturdays, and 3:00 PM until 9:30 PM on Fridays. Training will be offered on Tuesday July 9th and Wednesday July 10th from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM. The candidate must pass a background check and obtain an occupational license with the Virginia Racing Commission after they are hired. The position will pay $250.00 each live racing day.
