International Staffing Consultants, Inc. is Hiring a Facilities Manager - Heavy Industry Near Nashville, TN

My client, an International Manufacturer with over $900MM in global sales, is a leader in its niche industry of carbon and graphite products. Their growing operation near Nashville, TN, is presently seeking a Facilities Manager / Sr. Mechanical Engineer, who will lead ongoing capital equipment projects to upgrade the entire plant.
Excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanically oriented facilities / plant manager to manage huge investment projects within a growing manufacturing operation. Excellent long-term career stability and diverse technical challenges. High profile / high visibility position.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. Some of the company's work involves U.S. Defense Department projects. ITAR Rules will apply.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. Will consider other engineering degrees, but mechanical engineering aptitude is critical for this position.
  • 10 - 20 years of engineering experience is required.
  • 5 - 10 years of capital project experience ($5 - $10 million) is required. Demonstrated experience with capital project tracking and ability follow through Design - RFQ - Execution.
  • Demonstrated supervision of engineers and project managers.
  • Demonstrated contract review and negotiation experience.
  • Demonstrated commercial projects experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed schematics, drawings, and specifications for equipment and utilities (P&ID and equipment drawings).
  • Efficient and effective troubleshooting skills including root cause analysis training.
  • Demonstrated style of participative management in problem solving, project implementation, and continuous improvement objectives.
  • Experience as plant/facility maintenance support, work order and maintenance systems is beneficial.
  • Experience with plant maintenance systems such as boilers and power distribution a plus.
COMPENSATION: $100K to $120K base salary up to 15% in annual bonuses.
