ACI Security Engineer

Job Overview:

As an ACI Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing security measures within our network, with a strong focus on network segmentation and the integration of Cisco Firepower Threat Defense. Your responsibilities will be pivotal in safeguarding our network assets and sensitive data from potential threats and breaches.

Key Responsibilities:

·ACI Network Segmentation: Leverage your expertise in ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) to design and implement effective network segmentation strategies, ensuring that critical data is isolated and protected from unauthorized access.

·Cisco Firepower Threat Defense: Configure, maintain, and manage Cisco Firepower Threat Defense to provide comprehensive threat protection, including intrusion prevention, malware detection, and application control.

·Security Policy Design: Develop and enforce security policies, rules, and access controls to safeguard network resources, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

·Incident Response: Act as a subject matter expert in security incidents and breaches, conducting investigations, and coordinating the response efforts to mitigate and remediate security threats.

·Monitoring and Alerts: Set up security monitoring systems, analyze logs, and generate alerts to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.

·Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in the network infrastructure and address them effectively.

Qualifications:

·Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is a plus.

·Proven experience in ACI network segmentation and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense.

·Strong understanding of network security concepts and best practices.

·Proficiency in designing and implementing security policies and access controls.
