- Define the product strategy and roadmap
- Deliver product requirements with prioritized features and corresponding justification
- Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
- Be an expert with respect to the product, market, and competition
- Become technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for product, product specifications and industry standards
- Develop business case and marketing plans
- Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
- Perform product demos to customers
- Respond to RFPs and other technical requests
- Assist in the development of sales tools and collateral
- Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meeting
- Act as a leader within the company
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional technical, marketing and sales teams without formal authority
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
- Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past
- Technical bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Product Manager
- 5 years of experience in the telecommunications market
- Experience in RCS, IMS and Messaging technology
- Agile development methodologies
- May require travel and/or being on-call
- May require working in excess of 40 hours / week
- Physical requirements:
- Ability to sit at a desk for one or more hours at a time
- Ability to operate computer and other equipment in the office
