To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Implementing, maintaining, verifying and validating the Company’s SQF System.
• Develop, audit and enforce Quality Control policies and procedures that will result in consistent quality products that fulfill customer needs.
• Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations.
• Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues.
• Monitor all operations that affect quality
• Ensure that all personnel are adhering to the expectations set forth within the established policies and procedures.
• Serve as liaison with customers on quality issues.
• Provide technical support to Production Operations relating to product quality.
• Assist with the training and implantation of all practices and safety.
• Preform visual inspection and analytical testing of finished products.
• Identify and track measurements of quality.
• Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output.
• Develops and keeps current all HAACP, GMP, Safety programs.
• Review current standards and policies.
• Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and records.
• Ensure all legal standards are met.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers and the general public is important
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

The minimum qualifications for education and experience can be met in the following way:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree
• Two or more years of experience in a QA role
• Experience in computer systems operation, proficient with spreadsheets, charts, graphs, excel PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal skills.
