Purpose of Job

To consistently service and aggressively expand an assigned set of customers along a predetermined route.

Responsibilities:

• Sell new batteries
• Invoice all units that fail to last the full warranty period
• Rotate batteries
• Collect money
• Maintain the route by keeping displays clean and keeping dealer list up to date
• Service each dealer
• Set up new accounts
• Establish, build and maintain good dealer relationships
• Complete documentation on a timely basis

Qualifications/Skills:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 25 years old with a driver’s license & clean driving record
• Chauffeur’s license required or able to get one
• Be able to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
• Prior sales experience highly desirable
• Good communication skills
• Strong customer service skills

Work Environment

• Job includes repeated heavy lifting of batteries
• Wear protective gloves & eyewear when handling spent batteries
• Warehouse environment, may be exposed to temperature extremes and battery acid

Background check, reference check, driving record check and pre-employment drug screening will be performed.
