Job Description
Administrative Assistant - Receptionist
Intertek PSI, is searching for an Adminstrative Receptionist to join our Building & Constructionteam in our Kennesaw, GA office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the architectural, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry!
The Administrative Assistant - Receptionist is responsible for supporting our Building & Construction business unit by performing a range of adminstrative and receptionist duties, including answering calls, greeting clients and guests, event planning, administrative planning, and Microsoft Office tasks in support of various departments.
What you'll do:
Listed examples are illustrative and representative of the tasks required of this position and are not intended to be complete or exclusive.
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate persons
  • Taking/Recording messages and ensuring they are provided to the appropriate persons in a timely manner
  • Greeting customers and guests and directing them as needed
  • Ensuring the reception area is clean and orderly
  • Manage and maintain community space and conference areas
  • Supporting and scheduling of building services (i.e. HVAC, pest control, etc.)
  • Create varios documents, spreadsheets, etc. utliziing Microsoft Office Software
  • Perform various general office duties, including faxing, copying, mailing, etc.
  • Assist with coordinating support (i.e. catering) for client meetings/presentations
  • Assist with end of month billing, Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Invoice Payments
What it takes to be successful in this role:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows Operating Systems
  • Prior Adminstrative, Buisness Support, and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent prioritization, organization, and time managemetn skills
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to plan, organize, and complete a variety of projects meeting objectives and time frames
  • Valid & Current Drivers License is required
