Candidate Capability Requirements/Experience:
Position requires a technology background and prior computer system operations experience, to include extensive knowledge of DCIM and Environmental monitoring and network cabling.
3 years related experience or the equivalent in combined education, training & experience, however, a Bachelor s degree in related field and 4 years of related work experience or equivalent in combined education, training & experience is preferred - years of experience may be counted towards a degree and an advanced degree may be used to count for years of experience.
Requires travel between Data Center sites and the Capitol Hill campus.
Requires 24x7 on-call support and may require the ability to work shift hours to provide 24x7 days a week technical support for the House's information technology infrastructure.
