St. Louis-based 75 -year-old, analytical instrument manufacturing company seeks an energetic, self-motivated Director of North American Sales. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the direct sales, independent sales, and Customer Service teams.
Job Description:
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's in Business or Engineering (required), or advanced degree (preferred).
· Have a proven management track record of efficiency and profitability.
· Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
· Experience in all phases of the sales cycle, from pre-sales specification to aftermarket support.
· Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and regional sales plans.
· Previous experience in technical sales.
· Candidates should have 5 years of sales, or marketing management experience.
· Candidates should possess a working knowledge of MS Office applications.
· Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
