Job Description Director of Global Paid Media Location: New York Reporting directly to the Vice President, Digital Marketing, the Director of Global Paid Media will lead the development and execution of our global paid media strategies, including paid search, social, 3rd Party, Programmatic and content syndication to enhance brand awareness, drive customer acquisition and foster engagement across diverse global channels. You will oversee the Paid Media Manager and digital marketing agency and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to execute, optimize, maximize ROI, and elevate the overall performance of our digital marketing initiatives. What You Will Get To Do: Develop, implement and communicate a comprehensive global paid media strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends to drive alignment, collaboration and action amongst a variety of stakeholders including Senior Executives, Growth Marketing, Creative Services and Digital Teams. Manage, track and optimize an advertising budget efficiently across multiple lines of business, initiatives, regions and platforms, ensuring optimal ROI and complete analytic transparency. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Growth Marketing, Brand/Creative, Product Marketing, Marketing Automation and Analytics to ensure integrated campaign strategies, insertions, deployments and creative fulfillment. Manage the day-to-day relationship with the Media agency to drive accountability, innovation, diligence and continuous optimization. Conduct in-depth, ongoing and near-real time analysis of campaign performance, leveraging data to refine targeting, creative, and bidding strategies. Communicate media performance and marketing insights to a variety of stakeholders to drive action and optimization through all cross-functional teams. Manage the budget and balance initiative investment continually in collaboration with senior leadership and growth marketing to ensure investment reflects the latest prioritization. Work closely and continuously with sales leaders and product marketing to ensure targeting strategies and media execution reflects the ever-changing market dynamics. Develop sophisticated keyword lists by product, persona, region and initiative and continually monitor, manage and optimize paid key word lists based on market-driven dynamics and organic performance. Stay abreast of advertising industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation, experimentation and continuous optimization in paid media strategies. Propose meaningful KPIs inclusive of ROI, engagement and track/communicate status and progress towards goals, objectives and KPIs on an ongoing basis. What You Will Bring: 10 years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on paid media strategy and execution, in either an in-house or agency role Demonstrated experience managing large global budgets (5M ) across multiple initiatives, regions and languages. The ability to design, structure and deliver a presentation covering large amounts of data as an insightful and impact-driving narrative for a variety of audiences. Demonstrated proficiency in planning, implementing and driving the success of multi-million dollar paid search campaigns across multiple initiatives, regions, languages. Extensive knowledge of digital marketing channels across SEM, social, display and programmatic platforms, video streaming, etc. designed for brand-to-demand efforts Experience with multi-touch attribution and media mix modeling Proven track record of developing and implementing successful global paid media campaigns that drive measurable results Thorough understanding of Content/Technical SEO and the relationship between paid search and SEO and how to optimize the investment between the two – plan and drive key term investment from paid to organic. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Excellent analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Experience with analytics / tracking tools: Google Analytics (GA4), SEMRush, Google Tag Manager. Enterprise software and SaaS industry experience advantageous, preferably in the technology or financial services industries.
