Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at an Infusion Therapy office. The ideal candidate will provide essential medical administrative support in a fast-paced office setting.

Duties:

Perform selected nursing and clerical duties

Prepare patients for treatment, takes patient vital signs

Prepare and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments including cleaning

Assist in scheduling of patients

Attend required meetings

Maintain patient confidentiality

Adhere to OSHA & HIPAA protocols

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of medical practice and care to assist in giving patient care
Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care
Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions
Skill in establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with patients and staff
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Good telephone and computer skills
