At TurboTax, we are currently looking for a creative and results-driven leader to oversee our digital creative team. In this role you will guide a small team of highly talented marketing professionals to develop creative strategies and execution across multiple digital channels, including Mobile, Video, CTV and Programmatic delivering on the overall digital advertising strategy and TurboTax business targets. This role will report to the Director of Brand and Creative on the TurboTax marketing team.
As the Group Manager, you will be responsible for managing the creative strategy and direction for our digital campaigns, collaborating with agencies and partners along with our internal digital media buying team. You will be responsible for gathering data and insights and to analyze and optimize our campaigns through platform analytics and market data. Your work will be critical in delivering a both results-driven creative and a cohesive brand voice across all channels and the delivery of our user acquisition and retention goals. You will play a key role in developing innovative creative strategies and partnering closely with our media and activation teams to bring holistic strategies to market. Your work will deliver on our deep passion for customer obsession, innovation and bringing financial progress to our customers.
Qualifications
  • Digital Marketing expertise; you are a digital native and expert in acquisition, with focus in paid media and demonstrated success working in digital, social, CTV, mobile app channels
  • Demonstrated ability to execute large-scale digital marketing strategies through creative, including managing a high-output creative production process from ideation to production to testing and deployment
  • Strong understanding of and experience in managing ATL (above-the-line) ad media campaigns and their role in driving 'top of funnel' user interest, especially when used in conjunction with user acquisition campaigns.
  • Strong prioritization and organization skills necessary to drive and lead cross-functional initiatives, and to be effective in a highly matrixed, distributed and extreme fast-moving environment
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 7 years of experience in digital creative or digital media, with a focus on strategy and management.
  • Proven experience managing agencies, vendors, and cross-functional teams with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with data and insights to optimize campaigns and deliver effective and measurable results.
  • A passion for digital marketing, a commitment to staying up to date on the latest trends and technologies, and a mindset geared towards delivering measurable results that drive business growth.
  • Deep customer obsession with a passion for understanding our consumers and how we better enrich their lives through our work
  • Excellent overall communication skills with a background in data driven assessment and cross organizational story-telling

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the overall creative strategy for digital media, briefing and creation of all digital assets that live across digital platforms, YouTube and other digital viewing properties, app, and social campaigns
  • Work with Analytics partners to clearly understand performance, analyze trends, business results and use this data to iterate and implement changes to improve results
  • Collaborate with both internal creative agency partners and external teams to deliver cohesive creative assets that live across channels
  • Ensure collaboration and connection between brand strategy and platform execution
  • Delivering creative that drives performance in market and creates continuous test and learn mindset to drive to the results that meet business objectives
  • Lead a team of three direct reports and their growth and development in a high performance culture
  • Own the day to day relationship with our digital marketing agency, including oversight of their Scope of Work and annual budget and funding
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing channels, strategy, insights, product, and analytics to deliver best in class creative and drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in digital creative, bringing new ideas and approaches to the team that will help deliver innovative solutions that drive business growth.
  • Immerse yourself in the creative landscape to become an expert in building native ads for platforms and audiences that leverage trends and insights emerging in the marketplace.
