YER USA is Hiring a Sales Manager Near Atlanta, GA

On behalf of our client, iris inc . (https://www.iris-sensing.com/us/), we are seeking a dynamic and talented Sales Manager to manage and expand Iris’s market presence in North and South America. Reporting to the CEO of the company the Sales Manager’s responsibilities will include nurturing existing relationships and identifying new opportunities for our APC (Automated Passenger Counting) technologies.

While servicing clients in North America since the 1990s, the US Subsidiary iris Inc. opened its first US office in Atlanta, GA in 2014 and continues to provide its products and services throughout the entire US market.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales and Account Management:
  • Manage relationships with existing customers and business partners.
  • Define pricing strategies and set sales prices in collaboration with the Controlling department.
  • Create, negotiate, and follow up on offers and contracts.
  • Support customer communication in collaboration with Project Management and Customer Care (including surveys, campaigns, and product information distribution).
  • Prepare and present product and company presentations.
  • Develop sales strategies to achieve sales goals.
  • Forecast and plan orders, sales, and materials.
  • Prepare, monitor, report, and evaluate key sales figures for general management.
  • Assess existing partnerships and sales efforts, contributing to long-term planning.
  • Conduct compliance checks in cooperation with order management and accounting.
  • Business Development:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the North and South American markets.
  • Employ strategic cold calling and prospecting to secure new accounts.
  • Represent the organization and its products at events, congresses, trade fairs, seminars, customer meetings, and forums.
  • Monitor emerging markets and trends, recommending new services as needed.
  • Manage tenders, including researching, structuring, and processing tender submissions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred / Some college required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Detail-oriented with recent experience in related industries such as Public Transportation, Intelligent Transportation Systems, or Vehicle Manufacturing.
  • Proven track record in developing new business opportunities with a hunter mentality.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Experience with RFP processes and federally funded projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small, independent team environment, wearing multiple hats.
  • Spanish language skills and experience working in the Latin American market are highly beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% and occasionally internationally.
  • Passionate with a proactive approach to exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ability to interpret data and numbers in the context of organizational goals.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
