We are seeking an experienced business operations associate to support and manage strategic initiatives across our Account Management ecosystem, partnering with Analytics, Learning & Development, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Service Experience Design.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Operations & Quality, you will help to design and implement strategic initiatives and change management programs on behalf of the Account Management leadership team. You will be asked to support all project lifecycle phases, from initial conception and launch through completion. This role has the unique vantage point of working across many functional areas to drive efficiency in our service delivery practices and power our teams so they are best positioned to help our customers and organization succeed.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in operations, consulting, program management, change management, etc.
  • 4 years of work experience in roles that were delivering impact across an organization. Examples include: experience in a consulting firm focused on strategy and implementation, being part of a strategy or business operations team in a technology company, and helping improve efficiency or effectiveness in a business function of a technology company.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, operational rigor, and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with different audiences and gain buy-in from stakeholders
  • Comfortable working with different types of data in Excel/Sheets; even better if you have technical analytics skills
  • Experience working with Account Management, Product Management, Sales, or Customer Success teams is a plus

How you will lead

  • Work closely with the Senior Manager of Operations & Quality to execute strategic initiatives and cross-functional change management projects supporting Mailchimp’s Account Management organization.
  • Conduct research and analysis to understand opportunities for improved operational efficiencies for Account Management and its partners.
  • Develop and implement new processes, tools, and frameworks for Account Management teams and cross-functional partners.
  • Partner closely with Revenue Operations, Analytics, and Program Management teams to facilitate reporting, dashboard creation, and other data-sharing activities
  • Drive business planning and performance tracking for critical projects and metrics.
  • Support the execution of ad hoc projects and other requests from the Mailchimp executive team.
