We are partnered with a leading CO-based IPP looking to add a Project Finance Associate to their team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Finance Associate to join our client, a utility-scale IPP. The Project Finance Associate will play a key role in supporting the financial analysis, structuring, and execution of renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis and modeling to assess the feasibility and viability of renewable energy projects, including cash flow projections, financial metrics, and risk assessments.
• Assist in preparing investment memos, financial presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the negotiation and execution of project financing agreements, including debt, tax equity, and other financing structures.
• Monitor project financial performance and provide ongoing analysis and reporting to internal stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, or renewable energy finance.
• Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of project finance structures, including debt financing, tax equity, and project finance documentation.
• Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to sustainability.
