If you are interested in having quick chat about this position, click apply now and we will reach out to you shortly!RequirementsAs our chosen Area Service Manager, every day you will assist with the managing and coordinating of persons, activities and available resources to accomplish property objectives, perform property maintenance (interior & exterior) or repairs which may include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, keys and locks, appliances, lighting systems, carpentry, etc. Perform duties to turn apartments and ensure that move-in standards are met, coordinate preventive maintenance according to established guidelines and schedules. Maintain adequate maintenance supply inventory by selecting and ordering supplies and monitoring maintenance supply budget. Schedule, coordinate and supervise work of outside vendors. Maintain compliance and coordination with local, state, property and company safety regulations as well as police, fire and utility inspectors. Townfair (265 units) is a beautiful, apartment community in Gresham, OR and we want YOU to be our Area Service Manager!
To thrive in this role:Have 1-2 years prior experience as a Maintenance Supervisor on a multi-family apartment community- PLUS
Familiar with and have used a Make Ready Board
Prior experience with plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliance repair as well as pool and spa maintenance
Employees must provide own hand tools and must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment and measuring devices
Valid driver's license
Superior customer service skills and a great team player
Dynamic self-starter who enjoys working with others and excels in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Must be able to respond to on-call emergencies as needed
Bonus SkillsExperience with Yardi
Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Excel and Word
Preferred licenses include: Pool License
