INVITED is Hiring an Assistant Golf Professional Near Sandwich, MA
ResponsibilitiesEssential Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day to day golf operation in the absence of the Head Golf Professional
- Development & implementation of golf shop standard operating procedures.
- Must be highly motivated and in pursuit of becoming a Head Golf Professional.
- Oversee all 18 hole ladies, 9 hole ladies and mixed events; meeting with tournament chair’s to establish budgets, formats & awards.
- Assist with all Men’s & Outside events.
- Assist with selecting and purchasing awards for club tournaments.
- Assist in the coordination with tournament chairperson and food and beverage department.
- Communicate with Director of Outside Operations & Caddie Master daily
- Ensure that the entire outside staff is providing an exceptional level of service to the members and their guests.
- Create Visual merchandise displays
- Shipping, Receiving Merchandise for Golf Shop
- Manage daily business operations
- Provide Customer Service – answering phone, booking tee times, tournament registration
- Assist with tournament billing and accounting management
- Sales Associate
- Oversee all aspects of Junior Golf program including PGA Junior League and Crush It! Junior Schools
- Implement, manage and direct Junior Golf Tournaments and Club Championship
- Perform Junior Golfer Certifications/ Evaluations
- Provide any and all services for members - promoting and maintaining the exceptional Ridge Club experience
- PGA PGM Associate Program Level 1 preferred
- College degree preferred, High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Customer service experience. Expanded Golf Knowledge.
- Proven track record of team management, organizational and coaching skills.
- Experience with tee sheets and inventory systems.
