INVO is seeking a part time Physical Therapist for a preschool program in Norwood, NJ.

The ideal candidate will work with young children to help them develop the physical skills necessary for success in the classroom and daily life.

This role is essential in promoting the physical development and well-being of our students through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' physical abilities and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for preschool students requiring physical therapy.
• Provide direct physical therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups, to improve motor skills, balance, coordination, and overall physical development.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate physical therapy goals into the classroom environment.
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided, in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP meetings, to discuss students' progress and needs.

Qualifications :

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current New Jersey State license as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience working with young children, particularly in a school or early childhood setting.
• Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic preschool environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with early intervention and working with children with developmental delays or disabilities.
• Knowledge of IDEA and special education processes.
• Familiarity with adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
