INVO Healthcare is Hiring a Rbt Near Egg Harbor, NJ

INVO-Progressus is seeking an ABA / RBT in Egg Harbor Township NJ. This is a full time position for an experienced candidate.

Job Summary : The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will support the implementation of behavior intervention plans for students in an elementary school setting.

The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide one-on-one and group support to students with various developmental, behavioral, and social challenges.

The primary goal is to improve students' educational experience and facilitate their academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Behavior Intervention Implementation :
  • Follow and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as designed by the BCBA.
  • Collect and record data on students' behaviors and progress.
  • Use evidence-based practices to support positive behavior changes.
  • Direct Student Support :
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students within the classroom and other school settings.
  • Assist with academic tasks, social skills development, and daily living activities as needed.
  • Monitor and address challenging behaviors, utilizing appropriate strategies and interventions.
  • Collaboration with School Staff :
  • Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and other school personnel to support students' needs.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss students' progress and make recommendations for adjustments to interventions.
  • Maintain open communication with staff and parents regarding students' progress and any concerns.
  • Data Collection and Reporting :
  • Accurately collect, record, and maintain data on students' behavior and intervention outcomes.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for review by the BCBA and other relevant staff.
  • Use data to inform and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
  • Professional Development :
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in behavior analysis.
  • Maintain RBT certification through required continuing education and supervision.
  • Ethical and Professional Conduct :
  • Adhere to the ethical guidelines and standards of practice for RBTs.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student information and records.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions with students, staff, and parents.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Certification : Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Experience : Previous experience working with children, particularly in an educational or therapeutic setting preferred.
  • Skills :
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.

Physical Demands :

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to manage and respond to physical behaviors when necessary.
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and actively engage with students.

Work Environment :

  • This position primarily works within elementary school settings.
