We are looking for a Special Education Teacher - Evaluator in Philadelphia, PA, to be part of our comprehensive team performing evaluations for students. This full-time, 12-month position offers excellent pay, benefits, PTO, and paid holidays!

Key responsibilities for this role include: 

Assessment and Evaluation:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests and observations.
• Identify special education needs and provide detailed assessment reports.

Collaboration and Consultation:

• Work with parents and professionals for a holistic evaluation.
• Participate in team meetings to develop intervention strategies.

IEP Development:

• Contribute to creating IEPs with measurable goals.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Submit required documentation promptly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field from an accredited program.
• Pennsylvania certification in Special Education.
• Experience in conducting educational assessments and evaluations.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in using technology for assessments and documentation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move about the school and handle materials as needed.
