Job Description

Hourly rate: $26 - $33 depending on experience. We are seeking an Operations Coordinator - S&E / Training to work at one of our locations. This position will report directly to the General Manager. This is a dual role working as a Safety & Environmental (S&E) Coordinator as well as Training Coordinator. As Safety & Environmental (S&E) Coordinator, you will provide all monthly Reports, assist Corporate Op S&E in facility related items, follow-up on safety items, complete/support audits and surveys and lead monthly S&E meetings. As Training Coordinator, you will direct the training needs and requirements at their facility. This individual oversees their facility’s INX Certified Trainers to achieve competence in all Work Centers. In addition, the Trainer monitors and advances training improvement efforts at their branch.

As an Operations Coordinator - S&E/Training, you will be responsible to:

  • Ensure alignment of training programs with the INX Human Resource Department, the Corporate BMS/TPM Trainer Coordinator, and the E&T Pillar (both at the local and corporate level if applicable); Must work with their facility’s E&T Team as well as the E&T Pillar leader. 
  • Implement training needs that affect the operation as well as enhance competencies and performance. This may include floor work instructions, operations, lab, safety, defined work centers, and other hands-on skill sets and evaluations. 
  • Champion all training processes. The position is the driving force to keep everyone on track with training requirements. Mentor INX Certified Trainers. Delegate training tasks to INX Certified Trainers as well as evaluate their training skills and effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage competency standards designed to maintain all ISO Certifications
  • Maintain open communication with Corporate Operational S&E concerning issues with facility safety or facility environmental requirements
  • Maintain open communication with both the Corporate BMS/TPM Training Coordinator concerning any issues with training or training requirements.
  • Work with HRD to ensure successful Onboarding for all new hires.
  • Support TPM Activities as it relates to their designated pillar (either E&T or S&E depending on the GM direction).
  • Be proficient in computer including MS Office applications – Outlook, Word Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Be able to learn new applications and programs. 
  • Support Reporting Requirements - TPM Report (both facility and corporate annual pillar); monthly TPM KAI/KPI Dashboard Update; S&E results/updates during regular facility TPM meetings;
  • Monitor training reports to ensure completion for not only the facility, but also inplants associated
Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to have:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both. 
  • Experience in a related manufacturing setting or in the printing industry, or a demonstrated understanding of the ink manufacturing business is essential. 
  • Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience as a trainer or educator is beneficial. Must be able to speak and present in public settings or to a class. 

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:

  • Training Certification through an approved organization is a benefit to the position. 
  • Previous QEHS experience is desired. Demonstrated leadership abilities and ability to facilitate learning is preferred.
  • Experience in an ERP environment, including SAP, along with familiarity with current LMS is beneficial to the position.
