IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.

Our client, Oakland County (OAK), is looking for Project Manager to work multiple projects across Infrastructure Services.

Tasks

• Develops and maintains project schedules and Work Breakdown Structures; responsible for determining and working with supervision to acquire resource needs
• Oversees project progress and workload through duration of project.
• Manages Request for Proposal (RFP, eval matrix) to select vendor products.
• Write contract Scope of Deliverable
• Follows process and standards update and creation.
• Project Support Activities (i.e., Risks, issues, action item management; Meeting scheduling, facilitating, meeting minutes).
• Communications (end user, broadcasts, IT notifications).
• Monitor and report on project KPIs

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidate must be a self-starter who takes ownership and responsibility of project assignments. Oversees one or more projects.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills including identification of issues, obstacles and opportunities and development and implementation of effective solutions
• Passionate about delivering the ultimate customer experience

Location: Pontiac, MI (Candidates local to Pontiac, Michigan are preferred. Position is hybrid, minimum 2 days a week onsite. )

Skills Required:

• 5 years - Experience in an IT Project Manager role.
• Experience conducting Vendor Implementation projects starting with Requestion for Proposal, into Contract Negotiations through Product Implementation.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suites (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Visio, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, etc.).

Skills Desired A plus to have:

• Experience with a VOIP migration.
