CourtTV is currently looking for our next Sr. Specialist, Field Producer to hire! For nearly two decades, Court TV brought high-profile courtroom dramas into American living rooms. Court TV is devoted to live gavel-to-gavel coverage, in-depth legal reporting, and expert analysis of the nation’s most important and compelling trials. It is also carried on an expanding array of streaming services and apps, including YouTube TV, SiriusXM, Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV. As a Sr. Specialist, Field Producer you'll assist in the management of crewing staff and freelancers for trials, judicial proceedings, and breaking news while also coordinating video feeds and equipment resources for field productions. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Attend daily meetings to assess current and future field requirements. Coordinate personnel and equipment assets in the field. Assist in managing the hiring of freelancers and assignment of staff for field assignments. Oversee the shipping of gear to field locations. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the fulfillment of specific field production needs. Develop and expand the national freelancer database. Establish and maintain an organized gear management system. Step in as necessary for field productions in technical roles, such as photojournalist or audio technician. Conduct gear maintenance. Perform other duties as assigned. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred Generally, 5 years of experience in studio or field production 1 year of experience as a production coordinator preferred WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficient time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Premiere, and Word Ability to travel (5-10%) ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
