What defines this job?
- Works closely with Customer Service and Operations with customer orders in scheduling/sequencing incoming products
- Maintain job order records, customer documents and responsible for the accuracy of all documents that are put into the computer system
- Verify incoming customer products against purchase order specifications utilizing calipers, tape measures, scales, etc.
- Inspect, package, and ship orders consistent with customer and company requirements
- Enter all customer PO details into the JOP software
- Complies with all established safety rules & work practices (PPE)
- Displays proficiency and accuracy with order entry in the ERP system, UPS Worldship, Fed-ex and freight carriers
- Keeps supervisor informed of job-related problems and other information related to work activity
- Other related duties as apparent or assigned
