The Project Engineer is responsible for planning all project work, being part of a team to bring the project from design to completion, controlling each of the steps along the way, and solving any problems that occur. The project engineer works under the supervision of the project managers throughout the entire project. Project work is detail oriented, with a focus on cost efficiency; each phase of an operation is evaluated, planned, possibly re-engineered and built with time and budget in mind. The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing schedule, quality, change orders and engineering relating to specific packages, scopes or work areas.
