Job Overview

This position will work around 20 hours per week most weeks. We are asking for someone that can work split shift hours, potentially working at both open and/or close. This means that the ideal candidate will be available between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM Mon-Friday and may end up working some hours in the morning and some in the afternoon. This person may be asked to fill in if others are ill or on vacation. This position has potential to turn into a full time position next spring. We are seeking someone with experience being on phones, taking customer information and making appointments. Being able to talk, type and multi-task are important.

Duties

• Manage and maintain accurate records, including customer files, schedules, and billing information
• Utilize a computer and phone to complete tasks, such as data entry, scheduling appointments, and answering phone calls
• Ensure the reception area is clean and organized, and that supplies are adequately stocked
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and faxes
• Manage and maintain the office's calendar, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with staff
• Perform basic administrative tasks
• Provide exceptional customer support, answering questions and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience as a Receptionist is preferred
• Excellent communication and customer support skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with scheduling and/or account management software
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong phone etiquette and ability to answer phone calls professionally
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technology
• Possess a friendly and professional demeanor
• Available to work varied hours between 7:00AM-5:30PM Monday through Friday

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
