Job DescriptionThe Iowa State University Athletics Department is seeking hard working, responsible, motivated candidates for an entry-level, post-graduate associate position supporting Athletics Marketing operations. This position will receive exposure to professional aspects of collegiate athletics marketing in a progressive learning mode.
- Oversee marketing, promotions and gameday events for assigned sports.
- Develop and implement marketing and promotional plans for assigned sports
- Game day promotions and operations
- Oversee social media efforts for the Iowa State’s Athletics main Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts.
- Assist with football game day marketing operations
- Hire and supervise student interns
- Assist with community and on-campus grassroots marketing efforts.
- Help with special events and other related duties
- Perform all duties in adherence with NCAA, Big 12, and university policies
Position Details: Structured similar to a post-grad internship. $28,000 annualized salary, plus overtime pay; receives paid time off; full benefits package.
Term of Appointment: July 2024 - May 2025
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship through the term of employment.
