Qualifications:

• 4 year degree Accounting/Finance required
• 1-2 years related experience.
• Knowledge of Internal Controls
• Must possess strong analytical skills, including problem analysis and resolution.
• Microsoft Excel, Outlook, ERP system experience preferred
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, and show ability to work independently as well as participate effectively in a team environment.

Major Objectives:

• Maintain a strong internal control environment
• Ensure inventory integrity (cost and quantity)
• Provide management with accurate and timely reporting

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform the monthly financial close for North American Composites. This includes preparation of journal entries, variance analysis, and account reconciliations.
• Ensure cost and revenue accuracy.
• Review cycle count activities to ensure counts are being conducted and variances explained.
• Analyze and submit miscellaneous inventory adjustment requests.
• Reconcile inventories at the public warehouses monthly.
• Perform inventory audits (travel required 4-6 times per year).
• Track returns to vendors and the timely receipt of credits.
• Calculate sales commissions.
• Prepare month-end reports.
• Additional support where directed.
