Inventory Spreadsheet Guru and Trainer

Are you a master of Google Sheets with a passion for inventory management and training others? Join our small, independent company as an Inventory Spreadsheet Guru and Trainer. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on working independently, is proficient in using Google Docs spreadsheets, and can track multiple rows and columns of data with formulas and thresholds. A proven track record of improving inventory processes is a plus!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Oversee and maintain accurate inventory records using Google Sheets.
  • Order Management: Oversee and process weekly orders for all needed components for our manufacturing company (about 200 parts to manage and oversee).
  • Software Migration: Lead the transition to a new inventory software program, Quickbooks Inventory, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Training: Develop and deliver training sessions for team members using new inventory management tools and best practices.
  • Error Detection: Analyze data to identify and rectify discrepancies in inventory records.
  • Reporting: Create detailed reports to support business decisions and enhance inventory accuracy.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets: Expertise in using formulas and data analysis tools within Google Sheets.
  • Inventory Management Experience: Hands-on experience managing inventory and ensuring data integrity or comparable experience working with numbers, data, and spreadsheets in other applications.
  • Software Migration: Previous experience migrating to new software systems, or learning and teaching others how to use various software programs.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to detect errors and inconsistencies in numerical data.
  • Independent Work: Comfortable working independently from home using your stable computer and reliable internet connection.
