Job Description
At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager with an uncompromising commitment to safety and quality to join our Project Delivery and Construction team at a project site near our headquarters in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
In this role, you will actively assist in coordinating all contractual requirements, design drawings, and project specifications, encompassing various tasks such as project coordination, procurement, construction billings, job and project schedule analysis, documentation, and generating reports. You will also play a key role in resource coordination to achieve project goals and establish positive client relationships.

Additional Responsibilities
- Contribute to the generation of project scopes of work and support the Procurement Manager in bid preparation and analysis.
- Maintain project schedules and collaborate closely with the Construction Manager and Site Superintendent to monitor performance.
- Address any deviations and ensure accurate cost reporting by closely working with the Construction Manager and Superintendents to reflect field events and conditions.
- Collaborate with Project Services to manage project costs, oversee site safety for assigned projects, and take appropriate measures to ensure compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree.
- 4-6 years of experience in Engineering, Project Delivery, or a related discipline.
- This position will have 25% travel, or as required by the assigned project.
- You may be assigned to the client site for an extended period of time.
- Overnight travel or staying in the city of the client’s location is possible depending on the assignment.
- You will visit client sites and will be required to adhere to stated safety rules.
