The Cardiovascular Specialist assists the physician with invasive cardiology procedures and performs duties for which the employee is qualified by way of education and training. Performs various clerical duties. Has full access to patient health information. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.
Schedule: 7am-3:30pm, Monday - Friday.
Requirements

• Certification, registered or registry eligible in a relevant allied health field, such as Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Interventional Technology (CIT or CIT eligible), or paramedic required. If registry eligible must obtain within a year of hire date.
• One year of experience in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or other relevant allied health field preferred.
• One year of experience working in a cardiovascular lab preferred.
• BCLS required.
• ACLS preferred or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire date.
• RCIS preferred.
