Description

Proficiently and accurately cuts, stains and mounts and labels specimens of human tissue for examination by the Pathologist. Specially trained for the achievement of accuracy and careful handling of infectious material. 

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, (Temporary 6 Months Position)

Requirements

• Must have a degree from a program of Histologic Technologist from an A.M.A. approved hospital plus a Board of Registry Examination by the A.S.C.P.

OR

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent plus three years of full-time experience in a histopathology laboratory. Board of Registry examination preferred. 
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
