Description
The Admitting Supervisor performs a wide variety of duties and is responsible for the overall operation of the Admitting Office.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Two years of on the job training in a like or similar position is desired.
- Aworking knowledge of insurance coverages is desired.
- Computer experience is desired.
- Previous Supervisory experience desired.
- Previous experience in dealing with public is desired.
- Knowledge of medical terminology desired.
Physical Demands:
- Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling,bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to supervise and interact effectively with people.
- A preference for work and involving direct contact with the public.
