Position Summary, Job Requirements & Responsibilities:What Were Looking For:
If you are experienced in government business support within the satellite services industry and have 10 years of experience, then you will be excited about the Senior Government Programs Manager opening with Iridium. As a Senior Government Programs Manager, youll be responsible for managing multiple activities and projects, including those with cross-functional teams, to ensure the overall effective delivery of satellite services to the US Government. In this role, you will focus primarily on supporting day-to-day business activities, managing logistical details, overseeing government contracts, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders within the EMSS (Enhanced Mobile Satellite Services) Program. You will thrive in this role if you are detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and excel in facilitating operational execution that supports strategic goals.
This position requires an active/current Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

Work Environment:
This position primarily works in the company office or in a home office. The position is largely sedentary with the majority of the position sitting in a chair and working with a computer. The role uses basic office equipment including a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse and printer. For in person meetings, this position will need to be able stand, walk within the office and climb stairs on occasion.
