Job Description:

As an Applications Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of industrial automation solutions. You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique requirements and leverage your technical expertise to design and implement tailored automation solutions that address their specific challenges.

Responsibilities:

1. Client Collaboration: Engage with clients to understand their automation needs, gather technical requirements, and provide expert guidance on suitable solutions.
2. Solution Design: Develop comprehensive automation solutions, including system architecture, hardware selection, and software configuration, tailored to meet client specifications and industry standards.
3. Technical Support: Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including product demonstrations, troubleshooting, and on-site assistance, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of our automation solutions.
4. Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including specifications, user manuals, and training materials, to support clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Collaboration with Sales and Engineering: Work closely with the sales team to assist in pre-sales activities, such as product presentations and proposal development. Collaborate with the engineering team to refine and enhance product offerings based on client feedback and market trends.
6. Training: Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams to ensure a thorough understanding of our automation solutions and their optimal utilization.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in industrial automation are a plus.
2. Experience: Proven experience in industrial automation, including system design, programming, and troubleshooting. Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and HMI development is highly desirable.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic and structured text. Familiarity with industry-standard automation protocols and communication interfaces.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
