About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Project Manager to join the team in Asheville, NC. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful execution of construction projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager with all aspects of the construction process, from pre-construction to closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Track project progress and identify potential issues or delays.
• Manage project documentation and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
• Coordinate communication and collaboration between team members, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
• Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.
• Assist with the procurement of materials and equipment.
• Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the project team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in an Assistant Project Manager role.
• Strong understanding of construction principles, methods, and best practices.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proficient in construction scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 base salary
