About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Safety Manager to join our team in Charlotte, NC. In this critical role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees on construction sites throughout the region. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing comprehensive safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of safety awareness across all projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive safety program for assigned construction projects.
• Conduct regular safety inspections on job sites to identify and address potential hazards.
• Investigate safety incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training for all personnel on construction sites.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and reports.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other team members to integrate safety into all project phases.
• Travel to regional project sites as needed. (This could be a few times a month or more depending on project needs)
• Promote a positive safety culture by creating awareness and encouraging safe work practices.
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory changes impacting construction safety.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA), Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in construction safety management.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification a plus.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
