Job DescriptionPrimary Responsibilities:
Accountable for overall success of all service call requests and assigned service work
Direct/create work orders for technicians with details/instructions for work to be completed
Review completed work orders to identify recurring service visits to identify root issues of service call
Schedule initial client technical surveys & provide detailed information to Operations & Sales Teams
Ensure that all systems completed have met Quality Control standards as set by Management
Ensure service calls are completed in a safe, timely, and efficient manner
Provide feedback on additional action required on serviced systems (i.e. Additional follow up, product/device upgrades or replacements etc.) to the Operations Manager
Discuss any feedback received from service technicians on installations that could potentially be a cause for concern to the Operations Manager
Participate in development of IRL Systems’s service standards procedures
Proactively follow up with clients, post service call, to ensure client is satisfied with visit
Deliver consistent feedback to team members
Responsible for scheduling out maintenance calls as per the Maintenance Tracker document
Report defects found during maintenances to customers and advise of cost for minor repairs
Responsible for scheduling periodic fire alarm systems inspections for all IRL clients
Specific Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls from clients and provide first level of customer service support to clients
Manage service scheduling including:
Service calls for break fix appointment
System Surveys (New project, system takeover, upgrades)
Troubleshoot, diagnose and provide break-fix assistance remotely or onsite with clients
Research/resolve customer questions/complaints by communicating with clients and collaborating with team members
Identify inefficiencies in the service process/develop solutions in collaboration with the Operations Manager
Coordinate site access for field staff, communicating with staff throughout the day as needed
Create, issue and manage service work orders via Field Service Manager to Service Technicians
Ensure field staff update, document, and provide client’s information back to the operations team for record keeping purposes
Ensure field staff provide updated info on site specific conditions to the operations team for future reference (i.e access code, system type,specific device location etc.)
Ensure work reports are clear, concise and completed in a timely fashion after every service visit
Ensure time is properly documented and time cards are updated after every service call
Ensure service documentation is updated with most current changes made during the visit and are communicated to the Operations Manager
Ensure to document work completed by updating work orders on a daily basis
Monitor all open service tickets to continually work towards resolve client issue and closing service ticket
Support installation needs when requested by the Operations Manager
Ensure Service Technicians uphold IRL Systems’s service standards and procedures during every visit
