IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Airworthiness Analyst located in Huntsville, AL to provide technical support for a Redstone Arsenal customer. The work performed will focus on H-60 airworthiness evaluations and review for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. Candidate will have a solid technical background in H-60 maintenance, operations and program support. Candidates should be highly motivated, a self-starter, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance. Position has in-person work requirements in Huntsville, AL.
Education and General Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of direct experience or High School and 14 years of direct experience is required. A strong work ethic, the ability to work effectively with others, and a strong desire to acquire new skills are paramount in this position. Candidates should also have the following:
- Solid technical background in UH-60A/L/M aircraft repairs and maintenance program support.
- Experience with UH/HH-60 maintenance procedures, requirements, forms and records, and technical publications.
- Understanding and experience with UH-60 Foreign Military Sales cases
- Understanding and experience with the Army Aviation airworthiness qualification process is a plus
- Good proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Be able to travel up to 10%
Job Duties:
- Provide technical support for systems engineering and airworthiness qualification processes that include requirements development, item specifications, configuration management, and data management.
- Monitor and assist FMS sites with H-60 airworthiness processes and maintenance practices and to identify shortcomings in relation to Army standards of airworthiness.
- Represent SRD's system engineering division in UHPO Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, to gather information, recognize problems and understand underlying issues, provide problem solving solutions, and communicate testing and data requirements as necessary
- Conduct on-site (OCONUS) Maintenance Compliance Inspections (MCI)
- Reviews component and system-level analytical reports, recommending approval or disapproval.
- Solicits and coordinates technical input from functional support to present to the UHPO Program Management (PM).
- Creates and maintains AWR related to test flights, production flights and ferry flights of FMS utility helicopters that are in US possession.
- Manages the closeout of tasks through the SRD’s Task Tracking System (TTS).
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs): and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 25 pounds.
